Ray means light, da.
And right now all that surrounds me seems to be teeming in darkness. I can't fufil my manga contract, my future is filled with uncertainty because of my school results. The darkness of failure is like a clamp, and with each moment it seems to tighten inche by inche, slowly eating away the space that I could call my own, and reducing the amount of air I could breathe.
But in the darkness, light shone forth.
My love for drawing, my pursue of illustrating and the power to create beauty. Creation that birthed forth life itself, and hence, my love of life.
Ray means light, Ray means hope, Ray means beauty.
So this character may just be a pretty dude to people, but not to me. He is the crown of my creation. The character I spend months and year brewing while flipping through endless scrolls of bishuonen and strangely, mermaid references.
I'll begin my journey anew, I refuse to give up, I refuse to stop loving life. I'll cling on to the light of my life, who is the Light of the world.
